Short description
The item of women’s underwear, from lighter white linen fabric, has an edge sewn into the waist. They tie together at the front with two bands. They have a slat in the back. The pants have four decorative bands sewn at the bottom and a bobbin lace at the finish.

Original use
The underwear was used as an item of women’s clothing. According to tradition, the pants belonged to the mining official servant’s wife. Later, Ana Tušar inherited them and donated them to the Idrija Municipal Museum.
Present use
The described object is being preserved, secured and presented as important mining heritage of Idrija with exceptional universal values. It is physical evidence of the centuries-old bobbin lace tradition and knowledge of bobbin lace making in Idrija. It is a part of the lace collection of the Idrija Municipal Museum. More similar patterns preserved in the aforementioned collection can be used for other types of promotion.
