The picture with the motif of Jesus administering communion. The picture is glazed and inserted into a longitudinally carved and brown stained frame. The latter has a typical form, namely thicker inner and thinner outer battens, which were crossed on the corners. The frame has a motif of a leaf with a stem additionally carved on the sides. It has three carved leaves on one stem, on the top middle part. The picture has the inscription on the bottom: Kašpirc Katarina, 18. julij 1916, Franc Oswald (18 July 1916).

Length 33 cm, width 2.8 cm, height 43 cm.

The described picture was the Godfather’s gift at the first Holy Communion.

The described object is being preserved, secured and presented as important mining heritage of Idrija with exceptional universal values. It is a part of the ethnological collection of Idrija Municipal Museum. Visitors can view it within the permanent museum display exhibition in the Idrija Miner's House. It can also be used for different types of mercury heritage promotions. The items displayed in the Idrija Miner’s House take the visitors to the lives and residential code of mining families in Idrija in housing from the first half of the 20th century.

The item was restored for the purpose of the museum exhibition in 2002. Among other thing, the damaged outer battens were also restored. Therefore, no additional interventions are necessary. Security of the premises is taken care of.
