Description
Short description
The sticks have a flat surface in the front, with decimal scale on them. The sticks’ ends are forged. Two objects are missing a metal ring at the end of the stick. The top of the stick is decorated with axes of different sizes. The axes on some of the objects are more expressive than on others. However, all of them are decorated with lavish ornaments and motifs from mining life. The handles on both sides of the described objects have a visible mining symbol, and an image of a miner, driving the ore (“laufar”) above it. Both sides also have a depiction of a miner, digging mercury ore in the pit (two objects have a less distinct relief). The objects also have an opening on the axes with a mining symbol. In two objects, the wooden stick is slightly bent on the bottom.
