Short description
The wrench has a handle, which is extended into hemispherical forks. These have a plug on each side, which enables the screwing of the nut on an angle grinder.

Original use
The wrench was used for attaching the grinding plate to the angle grinder. The wrench plug enabled the screwing of the nut on the angle grinder. These were used in various tasks in the pit and in the Idrija Mercury Mine outdoor plants (mechanical workshop, forge, motor vehicles repair shop, construction department, pit drills grinding plant).
Present use
The described object is being preserved, secured and presented as important mining heritage of Idrija with exceptional universal values. It is a part of the mining collection of the Idrija Municipal Museum. It is located in the museum depot and can be used for temporary exhibitions.
