Description
Short description
Circular building that is located in the vicinity of Almadenejos. It is part of the Pozo of San Carlos of the Mine of Nueva Concepción. Inside it housed the winch or wooden winch (now missing) formed by a drum on top, and below some levers to which the stables were hooked to extract the ore from the mine.
Measures
The exterior is a sixteen sided polygon, with 3 m thick brick walls. Its interior is composed of a single circular room, 17 m. in diameter, covered by a sphero-conical vault
Materials
The walls are covered with brick and the stone floor so that horses do not slip. The roof is made up of curved (Arab) tiles, with sixteen sides
