Description
Short description
This panel explains the modernisation that mine exploitation underwent in the 1950s; a master shaft was created for the extraction, called San Joaquín (500m deep), leaving the rest of the shafts for the input of backfill and ventilation. This caused the lodes to be exploited between the floors every 50m, instead of every 25m as was done until then.
