The road that starts from the cart gate at the Cerco de Buitrones has as its destination the building of the Royal Shipyards of Seville. By this road, and by three possible alternatives, depending on the need for rapid movement and the weather conditions, the duly packed mercury zacas were transported.
Measures
The maximum total length of the road is 315km and it runs through the autonomous communities of Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Andalusia
Materials
Dirt road cobbled in certain parts. In the initial part, there are four bridges with masonry that were built following the methods of the master builders who worked at the mine.
