Description
Short description
The engineers who ran this mining establishment in the middle of the 20th century thought that there might still be untapped ore in some areas of the first floor, so they made some research tunnels. One of these works is located near the San Aquilino shaft and in it the tools used at the time can be seen: drilling hammer, carbides for lighting, metal carts on tracks… The results of this research were negative, since the miners of old only left ore in small quantities and at low grade.
