Description
Short description
Next to the San Teodoro shaft, there is a hole dug in order to house a continuous probe drilling machine. This type of probe, commercially known as Diamec, was used in Almadén in the last third of the 20th century. By drilling in rotation with a diamond drill bit, they obtained a continuous rock core, which allowed the geologists in charge of the research and control of the ore grade to know its richness in advance
