Shaft guide:
Until 1755 the use of wood for fortifications, guides, etc. was frequent, but after the fire that kept the mines out of production for almost two years, wood was gradually abandoned for most of its previous uses and thus masonry began to be used in metal supports and guides in shafts.
Currently the guides up to the first level are rehabilitated, they are wooden guides that enable the movement of the cage throughout the entire length of the shaft. They have a cross-section of 13.5×11.5cm2. They are built in buscapí wood and date from the start of the 20th century (1907).
Cage:
Elevator with a metal structure that was used to transport minecarts with ore, materials and people. Initially it had two levels, but in the 1940s it was reduced, leaving a single level. It has a height of 2.14 metres, the floor area is 1.245×0.775m2 and the distance to the suspension and mooring point is 1.1 metres.
