"Cinnabar is the most abundant mineral in Almadén and its comarca, where the deposits of El Entredicho, Las Cuevas and La Concepción Nueva stand out, in addition to the Almadén mine. Cinnabar can appear in bulk, together with other minerals or, less frequently, forming crystals that stand out for their beauty and morphological perfection.
This showcase exhibits: cinnabar crystals from various mines (Almadén mine, El Entredicho mine, Las Cuevas mine, all of them from the Almadén region; a sample of cinnabar from the Hunan Province in China)"
