Description

Short description
"Fossils are objects of organic origin, more or less petrified, which are found in different layers of the soil, due to natural causes.
The comarca of Almadén has a great wealth of fossils belonging to the Palaeozoic Era that began 600 million years ago when the area was covered by the sea platform of the continent Gondwana.
In this showcase, fossils from the Ordovician period are shown: a group of trilobites and a group of bilobites (fossil imprints), fossils from the Silurian: a group of Graptolites and fossils from the Devonian: a group of bivalves and brachiopods"
