Short description
To regulate the business operation of the mines, the Administration Council of the Almadén and Arrayanes Mines (created in 1918) created an administrative structure by sections, which remained until the late 1960s. A head of section and several clerks worked in each office. Some of the tasks to be carried out were: payroll payments and regulation of contracts, company’s bookkeeping, keeping records of the general journal, general ledger and cash book, processing of orders and purchases of necessary materials for mining and metallurgy, as well as management of the archive of the generated administrative documentation.
